Mumbai · Vile Parle
Architects and interior designers in Vile Parle.
Quiet residential streets, old societies and family bungalows close to the airport. We work across Vile Parle East and West, near the domestic airport.
Designing for Vile Parle
Vile Parle is a settled, residential neighbourhood with a strong community feel. Many of its streets still have old cooperative housing societies and family bungalows, and a lot of them are now being renovated or redeveloped.
A good share of the work here is about families. Homes need to work for grandparents, parents and children at once, with privacy for each and shared spaces that bring them together. We plan storage, puja spaces, kitchens and bathrooms around real daily routines, not a showroom image.
Being close to the airport, Vile Parle has height restrictions that affect new buildings and redevelopment. For interior projects this rarely matters, but for new construction we factor it in from the start.
Projects
What we design in Vile Parle.
Architecture, interiors and landscape, from a single room to a whole building. See the practice
Family homes
Interiors that work for several generations living together.
Bungalow renovations
Updating older family bungalows with better light, ventilation and services.
Redeveloped flats
Fitting out new apartments in redeveloped societies.
Process
Clear steps, no surprises.
Each stage ends with clear decisions, drawings and costs agreed with you before we move on.
Listen
We begin with conversations, not drawings. How you live or work, what you love about the places you know, what the budget and timeline really are.
Read the site
Sun paths, prevailing winds, views, neighbours, soil and regulations. The site sets the first rules of the design.
Concept
Sketches, models and early studies that test a few clear ideas. We choose one direction together before going further.
Design development
Plans, sections, materials and details refined with structural and services consultants, with cost checked at every stage.
Drawings & approvals
Complete construction drawings, specifications and the documentation needed for statutory approvals.
On site
Regular site visits, mock-ups and close work with contractors and craftspeople until the last detail is in place.
