Mumbai · Dadar
Architects and interior designers in Dadar.
Shivaji Park, Parsi and Hindu colonies, and some of the city's best preserved Art Deco streets. We work across Shivaji Park, Dadar Parsi Colony, Hindu Colony and Matunga.
Designing for Dadar
Dadar is one of Mumbai's most loved residential neighbourhoods. The planned colonies laid out in the early twentieth century, including Dadar Parsi Colony and Hindu Colony, still have low buildings, tree-lined streets and garden plots. Around Shivaji Park, Art Deco apartment buildings sit next to newer towers.
Many families here are living in the same home for a second or third generation, and the work is often about renewing rather than replacing. We look for what gives a home its character, such as old tiles, wooden windows or a verandah, and plan new kitchens, bathrooms and storage around it.
Parts of Dadar are protected heritage precincts, and many older societies are going through redevelopment. Whether you are renovating an old flat or fitting out a new one in a redeveloped building, we can help you plan it properly.
Projects
What we design in Dadar.
Architecture, interiors and landscape, from a single room to a whole building. See the practice
Family homes
Renovations of older apartments that keep their character and fix what no longer works.
Redeveloped flats
Interiors for new homes in redeveloped societies, planned around how the family actually lives.
Heritage colonies
Careful work on bungalows and low-rise buildings in protected precincts.
Process
Clear steps, no surprises.
Each stage ends with clear decisions, drawings and costs agreed with you before we move on.
Listen
We begin with conversations, not drawings. How you live or work, what you love about the places you know, what the budget and timeline really are.
Read the site
Sun paths, prevailing winds, views, neighbours, soil and regulations. The site sets the first rules of the design.

Sketches, models and early studies that test a few clear ideas. We choose one direction together before going further.
Design development
Plans, sections, materials and details refined with structural and services consultants, with cost checked at every stage.
Drawings & approvals
Complete construction drawings, specifications and the documentation needed for statutory approvals.
On site
Regular site visits, mock-ups and close work with contractors and craftspeople until the last detail is in place.
