Mumbai · Borivali

Architects and interior designers in Borivali.

Homes on the edge of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, with green views and cooler air. We work across Borivali West, Borivali East, Gorai and the national park edge.

Designing for Borivali

Borivali sits at the edge of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, which gives much of the neighbourhood green views, birdsong and slightly cooler air than the rest of the suburbs. Toward Gorai, the city thins out into creeks, mangroves and beaches.

Homes here can take real advantage of that setting. We plan rooms so the best views are from where you actually sit, use balconies and openings to bring in breeze, and choose materials and colours that sit well alongside the green outside.

Borivali has many established cooperative societies and new towers alike. We work on full interiors, renovations of older flats and, toward Gorai, weekend homes and bungalows.

Projects

What we design in Borivali.

Architecture, interiors and landscape, from a single room to a whole building. See the practice

01

Apartment interiors

Homes planned around green views and cross ventilation.

02

Older flat renovations

Renewing homes in established societies, behind the walls as well as on them.

03

Weekend homes near Gorai

Houses designed for sea air, greenery and slower days.

Process

Clear steps, no surprises.

Each stage ends with clear decisions, drawings and costs agreed with you before we move on.

01

Listen

We begin with conversations, not drawings. How you live or work, what you love about the places you know, what the budget and timeline really are.

02

Read the site

Sun paths, prevailing winds, views, neighbours, soil and regulations. The site sets the first rules of the design.

03

Concept

Sketches, models and early studies that test a few clear ideas. We choose one direction together before going further.

04

Design development

Plans, sections, materials and details refined with structural and services consultants, with cost checked at every stage.

05

Drawings & approvals

Complete construction drawings, specifications and the documentation needed for statutory approvals.

06

On site

Regular site visits, mock-ups and close work with contractors and craftspeople until the last detail is in place.

Questions about Borivali

Do you take projects toward Gorai and Manori?
Yes. These sites often need extra care with access, materials and local rules, so we visit early and plan carefully.
Can you open up a closed balcony to bring back light and air?
Often yes, depending on the society's rules and the building's structure. We check both before suggesting it.
How are fees structured?
Fees depend on the scope, scale and complexity of the work. They are usually either a percentage of construction cost or a fixed fee per stage. We agree this in writing before design work begins.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Anything you have: a site plan or address, photographs, a rough brief, images you like and an idea of budget and timeline. None of it needs to be complete.
