Designing for Mulund
Mulund is a quiet, settled residential suburb at Mumbai's northeastern edge, backed by the hills of the national park and right on the border with Thane. Its streets mix older cooperative societies with newer towers, especially in Mulund West.
Families here often want homes that are well planned, durable and easy to maintain, with space for children, elders and guests. We plan storage, kitchens and bathrooms carefully, and use materials that handle the humidity of the monsoon without constant upkeep.
Although Mulund borders Thane, it falls under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, so building rules and approvals follow Mumbai's regulations rather than Thane's. We check this for every project near the border.
